Students working in broadcasting studio

The electronic media programs provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, utilizing current technology in the fields of broadcasting and multimedia production.

You will develop an understanding of the specialized visual literacy, aesthetic components and creation process of broadcast and multimedia productions. You will gain the ability to鈥攂oth independently and as part of a team鈥攖ake multimedia assets from visualization, planning, pre-production and production stages to the final product.

Our program provides students with a strong educational foundation with information and experience necessary for entry level positions in broadcast, multimedia production, communications and information industries.

You'll learn in a newly designed space with the latest technology. A $2.8 million renovation completed in 2022 included a computer lab, classrooms, radio studios, equipment storage, student work spaces and a commons area used by journalism and electronic media students, as well as Delta's Public Media PBS and NPR stations.
